What used to sound rather like science fiction in the past, finds its way into more and more sectors nowadays: artificial intelligence massively changes the (working) world. AI provides enterprises with infinite options of automating processes, using resources more efficiently and improving processes. The AI experts of the FIS Group support enterprises with great competence and intelligent, creative solution ideas complying with data protection provisions on their way into a promising future.
Ai and you: How your company benefits
from its cooperation with the FIS Group
We make your professional expertise available.
We reduce the workload of your team.
We bring structure to your data jungle.
We ensure security for your data.
Individuality instead of ChatGPT
Why individual ai is a better solution
Everyone is talking about ChatGPT, but enterprises should at least critically scrutinize the use of this freely available AI that is hosted in the USA. Reason: To be able to use AI really successfully, the solution must be individually tailored to your requirements, it must be user-friendly and, particularly with regard to data security, one hundred percent transparent.
The experts of the FIS Group develop individual AI models that perfectly map your use cases. In this way, we ensure higher efficiency and faster processes. Even data security is guaranteed at any time, because our AI solutions are hosted on separate servers in Germany.
Safe and individual
What benefits do the AI solutions of the FIS Group provide?
Our adjustable solutions enable us to integrate specific models that correspond to your requirements concerning coding, speech processing or image recognition.
1.Hosting in compliance with data protection
Our AI models are hosted on separate servers in Germany. Cost-efficiently, transparently and safely.
2. Individual AI models
Wir entwickeln KI-Modelle für individuelle Use Cases und trainieren sie mit Ihren Daten. Für bessere Ergebnisse und zufriedenere Mitarbeiter und Kunden.
3. Optimal user experience
Our experts make sure that the operation of the AI applications is oriented towards your employees’ requirements.
Data is the basis of every business success. However, data is often available in different places and in different formats, e.g. product descriptions in pdf format. In order to be able to use this data, it must be converted into other formats and stored in the system. The use of AI is recommended to save time and therefore costs in this process.
As a first step, the experts at the FIS Group will advise you in detail on your options and plan the next steps. We are then provided with the unstructured data and our AI team develops a pipeline process that automatically prepares the customer data and stores it in the relevant systems. This data can be retrieved from the required locations throughout the company and is therefore available everywhere.
Companies often lack the expertise and time to analyze and structure the available data in such a way that it can be used successfully by sales and customer service. We support companies in becoming more efficient by giving their data more structure with the help of AI.
To this end, we develop a customized embedding model with which the data is brought into the desired structure. This turns “raw” product data into category trees, and purchase history data can be used to analyze user behaviour and maintain recommendation engines. For companies, this means that you relieve your team, save time and costs and can offer your customers better advice and a better customer experience.
Only satisfied customers are loyal customers. That's why customer service plays a crucial role in the customer lifecycle. However, most of the time is spent on standardized requests that tie up internal resources - although your team would be better off using this time for the more complex questions.
We relieve your team of these standardized requests by linking a chatbot with your individual data. The possible applications extend far beyond automated customer service: from intelligent ticket systems to complex documentation in which your company's expert knowledge is brought together and can be accessed.
The individual embedding model of the FIS Group
Within the FIS Group, we have put AI research and development into the hands of a special team consisting of AI experts from the three enterprises FIS, Medienwerft and FIS-ASP. The aim is to support customers in creating individual, AI-based applications. For this purpose, we have developed an individual embedding model we can use to train and map the different fields of application: FISMWASP.
This embedding models gives structure to your data and profitably integrates it into your e-commerce solutions. In this way, you tap the full potential of your data and create personalized shopping experiences, efficient processes and data-based decisions – and all of this without time-consuming manual interferences.

FAQ: What you have to know about AI
Artificial intelligence is a field in computer science that aims at the development of machines which are able to carry out tasks usually requiring human intelligence. These tasks include learning, problem solving, pattern recognition, language and decision making.
Imagine an interactive map where each product appears as a dot. The position of each dot is determined by its characteristics – i.e. color, size, price and many more. The embedding model works like an intelligent cartographer that arranges these dots in such a way that relations and similarities between them become visible.
Now, a product is no longer only an individual dot, but part of a larger network. Due to the distances between the dots, you can see what products are similar to each other. As a consequence, personalized recommendations can be given. However, the capabilities of embedding models go far beyond product data. They can be applied to almost all data types – from images and tracking data to user analyses. This means that new ways open up to better understand customers, optimize processes and develop innovative solutions.
OpenAI applications such as ChatGPT are hosted on servers in the USA, which makes the handling of personal data difficult to retrace. This is completely different with the AI solutions of the FIS Group: these are hosted on separate servers in Germany, work, as a consequence, in compliance with GDPR provisions and are certified according to ISO 27001 and ISO 9001.
